The Fun Language curriculum was introduced into Thailand in 1996 by Khun Duangchai Tansanga, founder and president of the Fun Language franchise in Thailand. Since then, Fun Language International (Thailand) or FLIT has gained a foothold in a very competitive EFL market and has achieved a reputation as a leading establishment specialising in teaching EFL to young learners.
Currently, Fun Language International (Thailand) sends its teachers to over 60 Thai schools where their lessons are incorporated into the regular school curriculum. FLIT lessons are designed for children aged 2,5 to 18 years and are taught using games, songs and communicative activities. Most teachers can expect to teach from 4 to 6 classes a day, five days a week. Each lesson is 50 or 60 minutes in length and there may be anywhere from 20 to 30 children in the classroom. All lesson plans, teaching materials, and worksheets are provided by FLIT, therefore, the main role of teachers is to present the material in a fun and effective manner. Many of our learners have passed the Cambridge Young Learner exams at all three levels (Starters, Movers, Flyers).
